Soma is a small an independent recording studio. Located at street level, on a busy Chicago street the project was technically developed to maximize the particulars of the making of quality sound.

This was achieved by the shape of spaces, floating of rooms, and specialty electrical and cooling systems.

Both form and materials were selected to bring about the highest in sound quality in a very small existing space.
