Richards Apartments

This project was a general renovation and conversion of a 4 story commercial and apartment building. There were originally 6 units on the 2^nd and third floors, with a commercial unit on the ground floor, occupied by the owners business Thrill Jockey Records. The 6 apartments were converted to 3 units, with one unit occupying both the third floor and the existing unused attic. The allowable square feet dictated by the local municipalities were fully exploited to maximize the new unit’s size.
